Sports photography in Canberra
Match coverage for clubs, juniors, and rep teams. Shot on the weekend, back while it still matters.

Most weekends I am courtside somewhere in Canberra. Basketball is the bulk of it. Junior and club games are the paid work. NBL1 East and the Centre of Excellence games at the AIS I shoot on a media pass, and football under lights when the season lines up.
Two ways people book me. A parent who just wants their own kid covered, or a team that goes in together so every player on the squad gets a set. The team way is cheaper per person and it is the one I would rather shoot.
Sport is fast and it does not happen twice, so I shoot long and wide open, then cull hard. You get the frames worth keeping, not four hundred near misses.
What you get
- Edited stills in a private gallery link, shared with whoever booked
- Photos by the next week, or same day on match days if you book it that way
- Vertical crops for the club socials, not just landscape
- Athlete portraits for sponsor decks, quoted as an add-on
Pricing
The per-player rate is worked out off your squad size, so it is quoted rather than built online. Tell me how many players and I will send the total back.
Every job gets a written quote before anything is booked. Build yours on the pricing page.
Common questions
What does a game cost?
If you just want your own player covered, I come out to the game for $100. If the team goes in together it drops to $25 a player, which needs the whole squad or most of it. A multi-game tournament weekend is $280.
How does the team deal work?
One person books it, usually a team manager or a parent, and pays the total. Everyone chips in their $25 to them. It needs the whole squad or most of it, because I am shooting the whole team rather than following one kid, and every player gets their own set out of it.
How fast do we get the photos?
By the next week. If you need them the same day, say so when you book and I will quote it that way.
How do parents get their kid's photos?
Everything goes to a private gallery link. Send it to the team and people find their own kid rather than you forwarding files all week.
Do you cover junior and school sport?
Yes, that is most of the work.
What if the game is out of Canberra?
Ask. Regional and interstate is doable, travel just goes in the quote up front.
