Concerts, launches, fan activations. The photos land while the night still means something.
The value of event photos falls off a cliff about a week after the event.
So a first set goes out fast, usually while people are still posting about it, and the full edit follows once it is done properly. You get something to put up while it is current instead of one delivery that arrives too late to matter.
Low light is most of the job at an event. Same problem as indoor basketball, which is what I shoot most weekends.

What does event coverage cost?
Up to three hours is $480. Three to six hours is $850. Multiple sessions start at $1,500.
How quickly do we get something we can post?
A first set goes out while people are still posting about the event. The full gallery follows once it is properly edited.
Do you shoot in low light without flash?
Yes. Most of my work is indoor sport and live music, so dark rooms are the normal condition rather than the hard case.
Can you cover video at the same time?
Yes, but say so when you book. Shooting both on my own changes how the night gets covered, so it needs planning rather than being added on the day.
